First look: a-england’s ‘The Legend’ (upcoming collection)

A sainted knight … a doomed princess … a fearsome dragon – when myth collides with art, ‘The Legend’ is born! Introducing the latest upcoming collection from a-england, seven stunning shades inspired by the legend of St. George, patron saint of England. This classic tale of how a sacrificial princess narrowly avoids a desperate fate, is tempered by the incredible bravery shown by her savior – heroic acts and values that are highly revered by England to this very day.
An superb melding of exceptional lacquer, these seven hues are all filled with an intricate play of ultra-fine holographic particles, that while adding amazing depth to each shade, still manages to maintain a sophisticated, elegant, and totally modern vibe.
‘St. George’ – a brave new deep teal, the colour of a valiant heart.
‘Dragon’ – an iridescent green, humming with serpantine energy.

Cant wait to get them they are stunning. Also so nice to be able to get Holographics in the UK, yes they may be readily available in the US but no so here. So I am glad there is a silvery HOLO and the others are gorgeous!

I love these swatches! Incredible. I’ve been watching the HBO series Game of Thrones (must read the books soon) and this kind of old-england fantasy legendery mythical thing just stick on me… The top two shades seem INCREDIBLE!
Is there any information when this collection comes out?
This is an amazing, magical collection! I totally love the historical side to this brand’s lacquers as well…really feeds the romantic in me! As to release date, ‘The Legend’ should be released within the next 2 weeks; the exact date hasn’t been determined yet, but I know Adina will definitely post it on her facebook page!

Hahaha! Genius Adina, is right! This collection is nothing short of genius; I never thought a group of shades, all bearing some form of holographic particles, could actually manage to look not only cool & trendy, but so incredibly sophisticated as well! Don’t know how she did it, but it all works! As to your beauty purchases plan, it’s all a matter of balance, right? But a collection like this comes along and doesn’t make it easy to stick to the plan, does it?!

Oh I love Princess Tears, it’s just so elegant. I actually love them all, but I am moved by the subtle lavender quality.
And seeing it live, it’s even better…I kid you not! This collection is absolutely breathtaking – from the colours, to the names, to the theme….there’s nothing I don’t absolutely love about each shade!
OMG they are stunning! I’m already in love with A-England polishes, I was so eager to see new colors, I couldn’t imagine anything prettier. And I love how she picked names for them.
Adina has the soul of a poet and art must run in her veins! I know that everyone has been really anticipating this collection, and let me just say that the reality will blow away everything else that’s come before!

Now this is a collection that is really worth looking forward to. In the months to come there will be flakies and pastels galore, but this is something truly different and unique. I’m already saving my pennies!
It seems like this is definitely the year for nail varnishes, and this collection is sitting at the top of the list, in my opinion! You’re so right that this is something worth saving for!
Oh snap, these are gorgeous! I love the first three the most…I feel like the rest are either non-unique or just shades I could do without D: Silver holo in particular…its been done soo much. Maybe I’ll wait for comparison swatches to other silver holos before making up my mind fully. Where do you purchase these? Is it just llarowe that carries them for the US?
While the first three may stand out more, don’t be too quick to dismiss the rest, my friend; you see ‘Ascalon’ is no mere silver holo…..it defies description as it seems to shift with an inner pulse…it’s unbelievable! For now, you can purchase a-england products directly from their site and they offer free shipping (international!) and llarowe is the official distributor in the US. However, this collection hasn’t been released yet….but do check out the other lacquers!
Perhaps, but I like the pinky silver more than Ascalon….I’m just not a huge fan of black/grey holos, but that’s just me
The first few are great…I’d have a lemming for the blue but I have sooooo many blue polishes that I’m restraining myself.
