New: CHANEL Ready To Wear S/S 2021 Backstage Beauty

The recent CHANEL Ready-to-Wear Spring/Summer 2021 runway show was once again set in Paris’ soaring Grand Palais, but this time the theme bore a laid-back LA aesthetic, complete with the brand name spelled out in giant letters evoking the iconic Hollywood sign. All that glamour aside, what really stood out for me was the comeback of the smokey eye … but trust CHANEL to soften up this look to make it so absolutely wearable.

New! CHANEL Fall-Winter 2020 Collection, Candeur et Expérience Act II

Back in 2016 and for her debut launch, Lucia Pica — Global Creative Makeup & Colour Director for CHANEL — created a collection around red, her favourite shade. For Fall/Winter 2020, she revisits this iconic hue with the Candeur et Expérience Acte II Collection … but with a pink twist that explores variations and tones, and still keeping it all within the brand’s recognizable signature. For the record, I’m LOVING every.single.piece.

CHANEL · Les Beiges 2020 Summer of Glow

Without a doubt, CHANEL’s Les Beiges is the collection I wait for all year round and have done so since its inception. The fact that it seems to launch around my birthday just makes it sweeter (coincidence?!). Something about the sleek beige packaging coupled with the whole summery vibe just speaks to me, and the 2020 iteration is no exception to that.

Paris is known as the City of Light, and for CHANEL’s Fall/Winter 2019 Collection, Lucia Pica introduces Noir et Blanc de CHANEL, drawing inspiration from all the nuances — not to mention opposites — found in both black and white. All I can say is that there is nothing simple or boring about getting back to basics … especially where CHANEL is concerned.
