NUDESTIX · No-Makeup Makeup Box 2017

Canadian brand NUDESTIX is basically the adult version of Crayola makeup — and with the same level of fun, I might add. Founders Taylor & Ally Frankel (supported by Jenny, their brilliant mom & creator behind MAC’s Lipglass formula) are two young women who have a pretty good handle on what people want out of their makeup and have created this easy goal: how to simplify one’s beauty routine. Take this “no-makeup makeup box” I received a few weeks ago for example; no tools or assembly required, with the possible exception of mascara. Done & done.

Victoria Beckham x Estée Lauder · Autumn/Winter 2017 Collection

After the incredible success of Victoria Beckham’s first makeup collaboration with Estée Lauder that launched last year,  the formidable Posh Spice heard our pleas and has come out with even more to love. The Autumn/Winter 2017 Collection re-introduces ten hero products (Morning Aura Illuminating Cream, Java Sun Bronzer, and Modern Mercury Highlighter to name but 3 of the most highly in demand items), along with eighteen new products, as well as two limited edition sets. And all just in time for the holiday season, to help you channel your own inner VB ∗runs to the mirror to practice pouting∗.

Clarins · Graphik Fall 2017 Make-Up Collection

The Fall collections have been steadily rolling out at counters over the last month, and one that caught my attention was this group from Clarins, a brand that is rather underestimated in my opinion. The Graphik Fall 2017 Collection has a simple yet effective message: “express yourself” … words I practically live by. For the record, the ad campaign (below) pretty much sums up my #beautygoals for the season, including the wrist embellishment.

NARS · Steel The Show Fall 2017 Collection

Not to take anything away from my love of everything Summer, I must admit that lush & cozy-looking autumnal hues such as these found in the NARS Steel The Show Fall 2017 Color Collection, are pushing all the right buttons. By the way, don’t let appearances fool you; this little grouping packs quite the elegant punch.

CHANEL · Travel Diary Fall/Winter 2017 Collection

For me, there’s few things that are able to take the sting out of Summer ending — one of them being the arrival of CHANEL’s Fall 2017 collection. Taking cues from a California road trip, CHANEL Global Makeup and Colour Designer Lucia Pica created Travel Diary. Inspired by the play of lights & colours on the landscape from earliest dawn to nightfall, as well as the vista from the coastline all the way to gritty downtown LA, these hues capture those fleeting photographic moments … in makeup form, naturally.
