CHANEL recently added a serum foundation to the Sublimage range — a product that sounds exactly like what my skin needs right now (yes, my skin ‘talks‘ to me.  And since we all know that one needs to start with a proper canvas before applying makeup, what could be better than a repairing mask to get the job done? New & tested: Maison Jacynthe Welcome Package

 

 

Maison Jacynthe is a Montréal based brand I’ve known about for a few years now, but which I only recently tried out … and boy, am I glad I did. For starters, the products are made here in my hometown (yay to supporting local) and created with natural & beneficial ingredients that are all sustainably sourced. The best part, however, is in the results.

Guerlain · Abeille Royale

 

Two things that I am incredibly passionate about, are skincare and animals. So when this package from Guerlain arrived containing the rebooted versions of their Abeille Royale moisturizers, I was ecstatic. Why? Well, because not have I had amazing results from their past skincare ranges, but I couldn’t be happier to support a brand who has taken such strides to protect our world’s bee populations. For me, this is a total win-win.

Rodial · Vitamin C Collection

 

It’s no secret that I love makeup, but I must confess that skincare really excites me. I mean, like REALLY. Rodial is a brand that I’m slowly becoming more acquainted with, and I literally jumped at the chance to test out their Vitamin C Collection. Also, how uplifting is the orange colour of this range? And that’s just for starters …

Volition Beauty

 

With Spring close enough that you can almost taste it (can you tell I’m excited about the upcoming warmer weather?), my thoughts turn towards switching up my skincare routine. That said, earlier this year I was invited to learn about Volition Beauty and while I had never heard of this brand, the premise behind their concept intrigued me enough to actually leave hibernation (seriously). Few things can accomplish this feat — but innovation in beauty always works … at least, for me.
