New beauty: The Butterfly Collection from Chantecaille

I don’t know why I’ve never tried anything from Chantecaille before, but when The Butterfly Collection arrived, I was intrigued — and no lie, I admit the beautiful packaging may have had something to do with that. But that was before I swatched everything. Spoiler alert: I’m now kicking myself for not having indulged in this brand earlier.

Celebrate the Lunar New Year 2021 Collection with Givenchy!

Givenchy has just launched the Lunar New Year 2021 Collection, and while it may be small, it sure packs major impact. For starters, there’s the bold red shade of the packaging: utterly elegant, absolutely sophisticated, and 100% GIVE ME THAT. Then there’s the lipstick; it’s not a lie to say that a part of me wanted nothing more than to keep it pristine forever … so I took a ton of pictures and dove right in!

New beauty: Dior Backstage Glow Face Palettes

Launched late 2020, Dior added to the Backstage family with two new highlighting palettes: 004 Rose Gold and 005 Copper Gold (CAN $55.00/each). Consisting of 4 hues that can be combined (or not) for a spectacular glow, there’s only one major downside: both shades are limited edition, which begs the question: why, Dior? *cue the tears …

New Beauty: Dior Golden Nights Holiday 2020 Collection

With so much going on in the world, I decided to take a little break from posting so I can fully appreciate the holidays with my family, but now I’m back with a showstopper: Dior’s Golden Nights Collection released for Holiday 2020. I’ve seen a lot of gorgeous makeup in my time, but this grouping is an absolute jaw-dropper.
