NARS x Erdem · Strange Flowers Collection, Part 2
The second half of my NARS x Erdem Strange Flowers Collection review centres around the face. Having produced some of the beauty world’s most iconic blushes (Orgasm, Sin, Deep Throat), I was curious to see how the two shades here would stack up — I won’t spoil it, so I guess you’ll just have to read on to learn — but the piece I was most excited about was the highlighting pencil. Again, no spoilers although even saying that I’m probably giving it away, am I right?
NARS x Erdem · Strange Flowers Collection, Part 1
Today’s post is something that figuratively and literally, took my breath away when it arrived: the NARS x Erdem Strange Flowers Summer 2018 Collection. The brand collaborated once again with celebrated fashion designer Erdem Moralioglu — who also happens to be Montréal-born (like me), to bring this 13-piece limited edition capsule collection to life. Filled with unique new shades & products, the packaging is adorned with one of three original floral prints specifically created by Erdem, and after you see it all, I’m sure that like me, you won’t know whether to wear or frame everything.
NARS · Wanted Power Pack Lip Kits
So, you probably already own the Wanted Eyeshadow Palette, and after yesterday’s post you’ve most likely now added the Wanted Cheek Palettes to the list … but wait! There’s more! We round things off in the Wanted family with a ‘little’ something-something for the lips: introducing the Wanted Power Pack Lip Kits, consisting of three mini duos that might be small in size, but super large in personality & pigment — loads & loads of it.
PS: you can find my review & swatches for the rest of NARS’ Powermatte Lip Pigments here
NARS · Wanted Cheek Palettes I & II
When NARS introduced the Wanted Eyeshadow Palette last year (reviewed), the beauty world could not get enough, and we can now add blushes to that family — introducing Wanted I & II Cheek Palettes, filled with six pigment-rich shades (5 of which are new and limited edition in each palette). From the brand that created iconic hues such as Orgasm, Sin, and Deep Throat, something tells me that these palettes would have been better named “You’ll WANT them” instead. Yup … they’re THAT good.
NARS · Highlighting Powder Collection
Whether you like your glow soft & subtle or brilliantly blinding, there’s no denying that some strategically placed radiance goes a long way in brightening the complexion … and may even lift your spirits (or maybe that’s just me). That said, NARS introduces the Highlighting Powder Collection, six luminous hues that can take your skin from delicately lit to strobed. Even extra strobed, if you’re feeling it.
