New in fragrance: Ryder by Ex Idolo

Ex Idolo Ryder opener

I first learned about Ex Idolo through an Instagram conversation, which then prompted a discussion on the notes of this fragrance, notes which sounded exactly like what I gravitate towards.  And while there’s much I appreciate about mainstream brands, I’m always excited to discover something new — Ryder, is all that … and more. Redolent, smoky, exotic, sexy, mysterious, and even a little posh, this is a fragrance whose sole purpose is to get you noticed. In the best possible way, I might add.

Fragrance love: Le Lion de CHANEL, Les Exclusifs

The latest addition to CHANEL’s Les Exclusifs range is Le Lion de CHANEL, and I am completely smitten with everything about this fragrance. From the minimalist packaging, name, sublime scent, and all the symbolism behind its creation (more on that later), this jewel has quickly moved up the ranks to grab the top spot in my fragrance library.

New Givenchy: Le Rouge Deep Velvet Lipstick & L’Interdit Intense Fall 2020

Givenchy is on a roll lately (check out the new eyeshadow palettes & face powders that I previously reviewed here, and you’ll totally see what I mean) and doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. As to these latest launches? Well, they’re a perfect example of the saying “as beautiful to look at, as they are to wear” — ok, maybe it’s not an actual saying, but I’m going with it.

New! CHANEL Coco Mademoiselle L’Eau Privée Night Fragrance 2020

The latest addition to CHANEL’s Coco Mademoiselle range is L’Eau Privée Night Fragrance, a toned down version of the original and created to feel more like an intimate caress along the skin. Sounds pretty sexy, no? Trust me: it’s all that … and more.

New Givenchy for Fall 2020

For Fall 2020, Givenchy is going all out and launching so many interesting pieces — from the new Le 9 de Givenchy palettes, additions to the cult-fave Prisme Libre range, a unique twist to the Perfecto Balm, and even a fresh new fragrance in the Irresistible family. So without further ado, let’s dive in, shall we?
