Caudalie · Vinotherapist™ Body Care

A few weeks ago I received this awesome package from Caudalie (a fave brand of mine for many years now) containing their new Vinotherapist™ range, and with the official start of summer just days away, I couldn’t think of a better way to get my entire body in shape for the season. Losing the excess COVID poundage is a whole other story … sigh

Laura Mercier · Holiday 2018

It’s Christmas Eve and while hopefully most of you have long completed your holiday shopping, there are some people who may still need a gift (or two), and I’ve got some interesting options from Laura Mercier to show you. From everything I’ve tried thus far, I can’t help but be impressed by the products, and find that all the gift sets are beautifully curated as well. My guess is that the only problem you’ll face, is in narrowing down which to pick up (spoiler: you can’t go wrong with any).

L’Occitane en Provence · Holiday 2018

In yesterday’s post I mentioned that I’m not a fan of gift sets; I should clarify and state that the one exception to that is anything from L’Occitane, and this year’s Holiday 2018 offerings are once again scoring high points for being 100% amazing. To sweeten things further, L’Occitane has collaborated with fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac — known for vivid colour and unexpected pieces (such as a coat of teddy bears worn by Madonna, no less) — to create packaging designs that are eye-catching and fun, needing nothing more than a gift tag to finish things off. And just like that, you can knock a few more names off that list.

L’Occitane en Provence · Face, Hand & Bodycare staples

I am an absolute fanatic about moisturizing; be it my face, body, hands, nails and/or hair and while I rely on a small army of products for said hydration, one brand that is a staple in my vanity, is L’Occitane en Provence. Their almond and shea butter ranges have reached cult-fave status with users for a reason: they are amazing … and smell even more so. I was therefore super thrilled to learn that the brand has just added two new additions to their lineup, Shea Butter Foaming Cleanser and Shea Butter Intensive Hand Balm, both of which have pretty much revived my Winter-parched skin. Insert mega sigh of relief here …

The Loop Duty Free Montréal & ommorphia

the-loop-intro-post-opener

If you follow me on social media (and if not, I would love to have you join me! @Instagram @Twitter @Facebook and Snapchat @ommorphia), then you were the first to see the sneak peeks I posted last week about a very special project I was working on. I’m so thrilled to announce my partnership with The Loop Duty Free (Montréal Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport), a drool-worthy emporium of beauty, fragrance, fashion & more — and an absolute must-stop for travellers.

Owned by Aer Rianta International, their first duty-free store was created in 1947 at Ireland’s Shannon Airport in 1947, and since then the chain has added several more worldwide locations (Europe, Asia, Middle East, India, New Zealand, Barbados) as well as four stores across Canada (Montréal, Ottawa, Halifax, Winnipeg).

I absolutely love travelling (I just need to do more of it) and what The Loop offers is some seriously major discounts off most major [beauty] brands you’ll find at retailers (starting at -20% and MAC the exception at -15%), with the price you see being the price you pay: no taxes, no surprises. When I came face to face — so to speak — with this store’s entire stock of beauty, I swear I actually did a happy dance (see below for proof). To say I was actually giddy with glee (yes, GLEE), would not be a lie.

Over the course of the next few months, I’ll be spotlighting many of the unique features that The Loop offers so whether you’re either A) travelling B) about to travel C) planning on travelling or D) know someone who’s travelling, and if beauty + saving money is your thing (duh), you’ll definitely want to tune in and read/see all about it. I’ll also be interspersing that with some flash posts on my social media channels (all listed above) so follow me to stay “in the loop”! I couldn’t resist #sorrynotsorry
