For the past year, I have been introducing you to all the wonders of The Loop Duty Free Montréal — on the international side. Today’s post focuses on the newly revamped Trans-Border store (for anyone travelling from Montréal to the US) … and I couldn’t be happier to see all these amazing changes. Somewhat overdue, this refreshed version of the Trans-Border store has totally elevated the duty-free game and created a shopping experience that will satisfy even the most discriminating buyer (like moi), with all the major beauty brands duly represented — along with exclusive products and ranges, such as Tom Ford Beauty and Céline Dion Collection handbags.
This past Friday I was invited to attend the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, presided by Philippe Rainville, Director, President & CEO of Montréal’s Pierre Elliot Trudeau Airport along with Jackie McDonagh, General Manager, Aer Rianta International North America (parent company of The Loop), and Colin Morgan, Head of Retail Operations, along with the store’s entire staff, where I finally got to see all the changes first hand. To say I was impressed, would be an understatement; this store is SLAYING and absolutely worth making a beeline for. The fact that everything is at least 20% less than downtown retailers and no tax, is the icing on the cake — so I strongly suggest you make room on your credit card.
Oh, and as the newly self-crowned “Ms. The Loop Duty Free Montréal”, I promise to fight for world peace and beauty steals …
