Serving as inspiration to this year’s Holiday 2021 Collection, is the first gold-encased lipstick that was created in 1989 by Monsieur Givenchy and I have to admit, that few things say ‘holiday‘ better than luxe golden touches, am I right? This might be a capsule collection, but I’m ok with downsizing — especially with exquisite pieces like this.

Gold, silver & black velvet — sexy, sophisticated and stunning
10 Organza Or Prisme Libre Highlighter, limited edition (CAN $55.00) | This exclusive creation takes the brand’s cult-fave Prisme Libre Loose Powder and zhuzhes it up for the holidays. The outer cap bears a mirrored surface trimmed in gold (and so difficult to photograph, lol) and is comprised of 2 shades — rose gold and gold while the ultra refined powder contains soft-focus pigments to meld seamlessly into skin, for a radiance that looks almost ethereal. You can shake out one shade by blocking the holes of the others, or combine the two for more dimension. Start by tapping out a light amount into the inner cap and then build up, if desired. The result is truly stunning and bang-on perfect for the festive season (or any time of the year, for that matter).

Le Rouge Lipsticks, limited edition (CAN $49.00/each) | For this collection, both lipsticks come adorned with plush black velvet cases and gold detailing. The Le Rouge formula is iconic; highly colour saturated, buttery smooth in application, and ultra-hydrating in feel … along with excellent staying.

Note that 501 Copper Nude actually comes embossed with the 4G logo all over the bullet, although the one I received is bare; I was told that the embossing was a last minute decision and done after the press samples were sent out. Even with tons of highlighters along with a vast array of red & nude lipsticks in my collection, I still find these three pieces unique. This highlighter really elevates things to a whole new level, and I have nothing but the most amazing things to say about these lipsticks — both in terms of colour payoff & performance. As well, everything is so gift-worthy, whether for yourself or the beauty lover on your list. Just remember that the collection is limited edition, soooooo…. you know the drill.
