If there’s one beauty product that I personally consider key in completing my makeup look, then that has to be mascara and its unique ability to give definition and open up the eyes like nothing else can. Another major advantage to this small brush size, is that you can now reach even those teensy-weensy lashes you had no idea existed, without fear of either stabbing yourself in the eye to do so, or smearing the product along the skin. My mascara standards are high (as in: extremely HIGH) and what I require is that my mascara applies easily (as well as removes easily at the end of the day), stays true without flaking or smudging, and packs major pigmentation. The Ultimate All-In-One™ Mascara absolutely nailed it in all those areas and gave me exactly what I was looking for, much to my happy surprise. Having been used to working with larger brush heads, this Power Mini Brush™ had a bit of a learning curve, but turned out to be really easy and effortless to use. The formula is neither too wet nor too dry, which means you have some play time to apply multiple coats and/or use the brush to separate lashes if needed before the product sets – and I also appreciate the fact that there’s no crunchy feel to my lashes once the mascara dries down. As my lashes do have a pretty decent curl and lift to them naturally, it’s difficult for me to judge much how this mascara performed in that department, however I was completely impressed by the deep black colour which stayed vibrant throughout the wearing.

As a self-processioned mascara aficionado, it’s refreshing to see a product that not only lives up to its claims, but that doesn’t break the bank while doing so (in Canada, the Ultimate All-In-One™ Mascara retails for $11.99 but you can usually score it on sale at any given time). The small almond-shaped Power Mini Brush™ is yet another interesting new feature, as its small size means it offers more control than a traditional brush head, but manages to do so without chintzing out on delivery of everything else. Lastly, the feel of the tube fits so comfortably in the grip of the hand, you may just have a hard time putting it down (or you can just save yourself the trouble and keep it in your makeup bag). Final verdict? Love is so on with the Ultimate All-In-One™ Mascara!
