This Arms and Armory ‘Alter Ego’ special edition ring, showcases an art deco-inspired design in a gunmetal-plated finish with an open and adjustable band to fit a wide range of sizes, and features a distinctive black enamel triangle in the center – beautifully complimented by Cirque Colors’ sophisticated yet mysterious ebony hue that flares to vivid life when exposed to light.

Alter Ego – a richly pigmented black base filled with ultra fine prismatic glitter in a superbly flowing formula. Self-levelling and ending in a satiny finish, this shade is not a true black but rather more of a deepest slate/charcoal hue, while its glitter particles create a subtle linear holographic effect and lend it a unique cosmic appeal. Bonus: no staining left behind upon removal. Coats applied: 2

*Adding top coat (see the last three swatches) enhances every single facet, and gives ‘Alter Ego’ a fathomless depth – truly brilliant, although I personally love its edgier look without top coat.

Final thoughts: There is absolutely nothing I don’t love about this duo; deeply brooding hues with a hidden core like this which also come with perks – ie: the versatility of wearing it with or without top coat, just totally get to me.
