Faced with a display of luscious Butter London lacquers, I stood there for what seemed like an eternity, trying to decide which would be coming home with me. What made this decision so incredibly hard, was the fact that I wanted…all of them!! Apart from the recently released ‘Wallis’ (reviewed here), I finally opted for a mix of older shades, such as ‘Branwen’s Feather’ – a lustrous raven’s-wing deep purple, ‘Victoriana’ – a shimmery yet dusty pale teal, ‘Fash Pack’ – an iconic subtly glimmering mushroom hue that basically began the trend for this colour group, ‘Lady Muck’ – a faded greyed-out baby blue with the most delicate shimmer, and the re-released newer shade for Fall 2011, ‘No More Waity, Katie’ – a pale grey-mauve hue, loaded with silver and lavender glitter particles, created in honour of Kate Middleton’s engagement to Prince William, and included in the Fall 2011 lineup.
Wanting to give each and every lacquer my undivided attention, I have broken up this review into individual “chapters” and will instead focus on featuring them one by one instead of grouping them all in one post. Therefore, dear readers, pull up a comfy chair and get ready to turn the page!
