New beauty: BUXOM White Russian Collection
Building on the success of their cult-fave lip gloss shade, BUXOM has released the limited edition White Russian Collection. The brand’s classic pinky nude shade has now been reinterpreted for the entire face … so I guess you can call this a true beauty cocktail (and yes, that’s definitely a cheesy reference to the original Tia Maria + milk alcoholic drink).

I was 14 when the original Star Wars™ movie was released and I literally went and saw it in theatre 7 times (obviously this was before BluRay existed). To say that I am a sci-fi geek wouldn’t be a lie, so when I received an email notification that Pat McGrath was launching a collection to coincide with the release of Star Wars™: The Rise of Skywalker, I didn’t hesitate. Beauty + science fiction = PERFECTION, at least for me.

When Urban Decay first announced their collaboration with HBO’s Game of Thrones, my heart almost stopped: a beauty collection from one of my fave brands + my ULTIMATE FAVOURITE TV SERIES OF ALL TIME (yes, that deserved to be said in caps) = worlds colliding and in the best possible way. As a seriously massive fan of the show (I’ve even read all the books), I was beyond thrilled and when the collection finally arrived, and that feeling has grown exponentially upon playing with all the pieces. The game is most definitely ON.
New from Stila for Spring 2019
I was recently invited to preview Stila’s Spring 2019 releases, where I also had the opportunity to personally try out the products. After being pleasantly surprised by what I saw and tested out, I was left asking myself how it was that I hadn’t explored this brand in closer detail? Let’s just say that Stila is most definitely on my radar now.
