CHANEL · Nº5 L’Eau All-Over Spray & On Hand Cream
I’ve always been that girl who has wanted so badly to wear CHANEL’s original Nº5 perfume, but have never been able to — although I’m still holding out hope for a future point where the two of us will see eye to eye. That’s why when Nº5 L’Eau launched in 2016, my prayers were answered: here was a Nº5 version that fitted me perfectly. For Summer 2018, Olivier Polge, the ‘nose’ behind this iteration, has created a fun new way to sport this fresh scent, launching the All-Over Spray and matching Hand On Cream … and I’m betting that both are going to be spot-on perfect for the season.
Mother’s Day 2018 · Fragrance Edit
With Mother’s Day just around the corner, I suspect some of you may still be undecided as to that perfect gift. Flowers are always a great option, although the blooms eventually fade and you’re basically left with an empty vase. Fragrance, on the other hand, is a bit more permanent and taking the time to select something special for that wonderful ‘mom’ in your life, is always a thoughtful gesture. That said, I’ve rounded up some of the latest launches to give you a helping hand … enjoy & Happy Mother’s Day! ?
YSL · Pop Illusion Collection Spring 2018
Brightening things up for Spring, YSL’s Pop Illusion Collection is all about light & texture but with some hits of vibrant colour — just to keep things interesting, of course. Then there’s the mesmerizing packaging details that keep distracting me …
CHANEL · Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum Intense
The third iteration in the series, Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Perfume Intense has grown up and evolved … much like Keira Knightly — the face of this fragrance for a decade now — has, as well. With its unique mix of seductive playfulness and elegant sophistication, perfumer Olivier Polge has created a fragrance worthy of the brand’s storied history, but more importantly, has also created something that just smells so.damn.good. (PS: I’m not going to lie: I actually squealed in delight when I saw the little makeup bag and notebook included in the press kit).
Mugler · Aura
When Angel by Mugler originally launched in 1992, it was all I wore and to this day whenever I’m feeling nostalgic and spray some on, I still get a ton of compliments on its vanilla/chocolatey yumminess. And while there have been several other hits from this brand, none have struck a chord with me … until Aura, that is.
