Mugler · Angel EDT, Aura Sensuelle & Alien Fusion, New for 2019
I have loved Mugler’s Angel since the day it launched in 1992 and while I may not reach for it as often anymore (more due to the sheer volume of choices I own), it will always hold a special place in my heart. The latest fragrance releases from this brand are updates on 3 of their best selling franchises: Angel, Aura, and Alien — and regardless of your scent preferences, there’s no denying that all are absolutely display-worthy.
Givenchy · Couture Edition 2019
Following an established tradition, Givenchy recently launched a new Couture Edition collection to the family for 2019. What makes these limited edition — and thus, collectible — are their stunning exterior design, but happily all are also available as part of the permanent lineup … although I have to say that these are wayyyyyy prettier.
Guerlain · Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic, Coconut Fizz & Pera Granita
There is no question that Guerlain is one of the world’s oldest and most venerable fragrance Houses, having brought us such masterpieces as Shalimar, L’Heure Bleue, and Mitsouko. Then in 1999, the brand went in another direction and launched the Aqua Allegoria range, a selection of fragrances that are meant to compliment some of their more opulent creations, but in a fun new way — and all inspired by nature, I might add.
YSL · Libre Eau de Parfum & Volupté Plump-In-Colour
YSL recently launched Libre, a unisex fragrance built around lavender — a plant known for its calming properties, but there’s nothing sleepy about this scent; it’s rather more “sensual romp through the lavender fields” than aromatherapeutic. For today’s post, I’ve decided to pair it with the new Volupté Plump-In-Balm lippies, because … why not?
Guerlain · Mon Guerlain Eau de Parfum Intense
The newest addition to the Mon Guerlain family is Eau de Parfum Intense, and apart from the fact that one of the co-creaters is a friend, this fragrance includes notes I personally love AND the muse behind it happens to be Angelina Jolie, aka: one of my ultimate girl crushes. Let’s just say that I was in even before I actually smelled it … then it was pure love.
