CHANEL · Rêve de Chanel

The latest collection from CHANEL draws inspiration from the world of dreams & imagination — and probably sorbet ice cream too, in my opinion. With warmer weather around the corner, it seems so right to break out the pastels and you can bet that I’ll be rocking these all. For the recent CHANEL Spring/Summer 2022 Haute Couture Collection, Virginie Viard invited contemporary artist Xavier Veilhan to help stage the show; part landscape, part garden and part open theatre, the setting also integrated seating for guests in the catwalk, making for a truly immersive experience. Of course, it wouldn’t be a CHANEL show without something spectacular, and that came in the form of Charlotte Casiraghi — daughter of Princess Caroline of Monaco, grand-daughter of Grace Kelly — who opened the show on horseback. Happily, the horse was well trained enough to not leave any ‘surprises’ along the way …
