There’s something about François Nars that I really admire, and apart from his obvious makeup artistry & photography skills, it’s without a doubt the fact that he doesn’t compromise his aesthetic vision for the sake of what’s trending. This latest collaboration with French actress/singer/model/muse Charlotte Gainsbourg is a testament to this philosophy, showcasing a selection of products which reflects this icon’s effortless laissez-faire beauty chic — and all without fanfare, bells, or whistles.

The latest releases from MAKE UP FOR EVER’s continuously-growing range of HD products are all about prepping & finishing, but the best part is that you don’t need professional skills to accomplish the job. Adding to the list of their cult-fave Stick Foundation lineup, are 5 new shades that offer skin tone options to suit pretty much all complexions across the spectrum.
On a side note, the media kit I received was mind-numbingly gorgeous (the 2-tiered case, shown below) and along with all the new products, it also came filled with more foundations and concealers than you can shake a stick at (whatever that means). Blown away, I tell you. #gottalovetheseperks

As a long time fan of CHANEL’s Glossimer glosses, I admit to feeling nervous upon learning that the brand was eliminating the range in order to make way for the new Rouge Coco Gloss, but I worried needlessly: this reformulated version is amazing. Available in 24 luscious shades along with 3 Top Coats, they’re everything I want & expect my glosses to be … sounds pretty extravagant, but it also happens to be true.

The move towards “green beauty” has been steadily growing over the last few years, but non-toxic beauty products have not always been all that … sexy. There’s no reason to trade quality over safety, and California-based brand BEAUTYCOUNTER is shrugging off the industry’s notion that clean = boring, and this latest Desert Sunrise Collection couldn’t be a better example of this line of thinking.
