CHANEL Beauty Edit · Cruise 2020/2021 Collection

CHANEL’s recent Balade En Méditerranée Cruise Collection for 2020/21 was supposed to take place on the island of Capri … until it got sidetracked by the pandemic. So for the first time in the brand’s history, the collection was launched digitally and the looks were created using fabric and materials that were already on hand. That said, trust CHANEL to have totally brought it just the same.

NARS · The Bronzing Collection 2020

For 2020, NARS has added to the Laguna family with The Bronzing Collection and I scooped up these 3 lovelies at the recent Sephora sale. YSL · The Slim Sheer Matte & All Hours Setting Powder

Say what you will, YSL sure knows how to make a visual statement and the new Slim Sheer Matte lipsticks are a perfect example of that. The iconic Rouge Noir* family also has a new addition in the form of liquid liner, and even though I tend to reach for pencils, you can bet that I’ll be giving this one a whirl.

*Graciously gifted by CHANEL for my unbiased consideration

MAC · La Leyenda Extra Dimension Skinfinish

Interesting fact: Selena Quintanilla-Perez’s posthumous original collaboration with MAC ranks as one of the top-selling collections in cosmetics history. I’ll let that sink in for a minute. Now, I confess to not knowing much about the late artist — other than the fact that she was not only incredibly talented, but tragically killed in the prime of her life — but I wasn’t going to pass on this stunning piece from her second collection with MAC, aptly titled Selena La Reina.
