When things come together like that, it gets me every single time.
CHANEL Cruise 2023/24 Backstage Beauty
The theme for this year’s CHANEL Cruise 2023/24 runway presentation was all things Hollywood, touching on the importance of this iconic Parisian brand in America. Appropriately, it was held at Paramount Studios where the celebrities came out in droves to witness what CHANEL does best: put on one helluva show.

They recently reached out to me to collaborate, and I was invited to select the products that most appealed to me — a task made rather difficult, because there are so many new-to-me brands that I wanted to try. CHANEL · New Le Vernis 2023
In the latest edition of CHANEL’s 24-hue Le Vernis range, the brand has tweaked both the formula and the brush, along with launching 17 new shades. As a long-time collector (over 30 years now!), I’ve seen many iterations come and go, and what impresses me the most is that CHANEL is always looking to improve & innovate. Oh, and the colours are absolutely FAB.
Guerlain · Abeille Royale Double R Renew & Repair Eye Serum
Inspired by the best-selling Abeille Royale Double R Serum (reviewed here), Guerlain recently launched a serum for eyes that will be replacing the former version in the range. The dual chambers are not only visually pretty cool-looking, but this formulation now packs a bigger punch than before … and that’s always a good thing, in my books.
