CHANEL’s original Le Volume mascara ranks as one of my personal faves, and as I’ve gone through multiple tubes of it over the years, you might say it’s my Holy Grail mascara. In my book, it’s the one I compare all others to and until now, nothing threatened to knock it off the leader board. Then back in March, I learned that the brand would be launching Le Volume Révolution de CHANEL, created with the world’s first 3D-printed mascara brush, and so I wondered: would this be the one?

Bare Minerals is a brand I’ve known for a while but have not really delved into all that much, so when the Crystalline Glow Bronzer & Highlighter Palette and Lashtopia Volumizing Mascara arrived, my curiosity was piqued. The fact that both products sit well within my highlighter & mascara-loving wheelhouse was just a happy coincidence … but I’ll take it!

Buxom is a brand that I haven’t really explored all that much, but what I have tried has been enough to impress; the same goes for these latest releases, the Tropicolor Tease Collection and the new Smokysexy Kajal Powder Liners. And because I’m a sucker for details, how cute is the flower print on the packaging?

I’ll be totally honest: I’m more of a balm/tinted balm/lipgloss girl, but you don’t get quite the same sense of satisfaction pulling out some spindly doe-foot wand, as you do by twisting up a pristine lipstick bullet, am I right? Of course, the buttery-rich formula of the NARS Audacious range doesn’t hurt the cause either, and today’s post is about the 6 new colours that were added to the lineup, along with the 3 limited edition shades in the Audacious Mascara range.
