New in fragrance: Ryder by Ex Idolo

I first learned about Ex Idolo through an Instagram conversation, which then prompted a discussion on the notes of this fragrance, notes which sounded exactly like what I gravitate towards.  And while there’s much I appreciate about mainstream brands, I’m always excited to discover something new — Ryder, is all that … and more. Redolent, smoky, exotic, sexy, mysterious, and even a little posh, this is a fragrance whose sole purpose is to get you noticed. In the best possible way, I might add.

Fragrance love: Le Lion de CHANEL, Les Exclusifs

 

 

The latest addition to CHANEL’s Les Exclusifs range is Le Lion de CHANEL, and I am completely smitten with everything about this fragrance. From the minimalist packaging, name, sublime scent, and all the symbolism behind its creation (more on that later), this jewel has quickly moved up the ranks to grab the top spot in my fragrance library.

For Fall 2020, Givenchy is going all out and launching so many interesting pieces — from the new Le 9 de Givenchy palettes, additions to the cult-fave Prisme Libre range, a unique twist to the Perfecto Balm, and even a fresh new fragrance in the Irresistible family. New Guerlain Aqua Allegoria 2020 · Orange Soleia & Granada Salvia

 

New for 2020, Guerlain has recently expanded the Aqua Allegoria fragrance story with Orange Soleia and Granada Salvia – both fresh & lovely scents to help offset the sultry summer heat. The range was born in 1999 and each year gets added to by master perfumer Thierry Wasser, who always manages to create playful and unexpected fusions with each fragrance that feature one key note. I can tell you this: I’ve complete fallen for one — can you guess which?

Givenchy · Couture Edition Collection 2020

 

Givenchy’s Couture Edition 2020 Collection takes three of the brand’s iconic products (L’Interdit, Le Rouge, Prisme Libre), and reinvents them with an intricate new lace pattern. And even though everything is limited edition design-wise, the positive is that all are available as part of the permanent lineup. That said, I have to say that out of all the Couture Edition iterations the brand has launched, this one is hands down my absolute fave.
