Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas…..I’m still paying the price for eating WAY too much of my mom’s excellent cooking; guess I’ll be fasting for the next few days!
I came across this little juicy tidbit on Essie’s facebook page and just had to pass it along – I know that there are just as many Essie fans as myself out there, eagerly awaiting any news on their Spring 2011 collection.
Earlier in the year when cosmetics giant L’Oréal acquired Essie, we all feared the worst; the formula would change (for the worse), the line would become diluted by being too mass-produced, or that Essie would stop being synonymous with an excellent product. I’m pleased to note that so far, none of the above has come to pass but that Essie’s integrity still seems to be firmly in place, if not improving even. The one change that was to supposedly occur, was that the bottle would be very subtly altered; it would still be the iconic square bottle with the white cap, but the name would now be in bold white letters emblazoned down the side of the bottle, as opposed to simply being embossed on the glass itself.
I like it! I also like the colour of the shade pictured above (Luxedo, perhaps?) What do you think of the new bottle?
