Coming this April 15th, Deborah Lippmann will be launching a totally unique new shade titled ‘Yellow Brick Road’. This appears to be a vibrant yet still highly wearable, canary yellow jelly polish that I suspect will become a summer staple for so many. Celebrity manicurist and founder Deborah Lippmann herself, chose this exact shade for Lady Gaga to wear during her performance at this year’s Grammys, who has effectively made this polish über-cool, even before its official release.

While this tone in general can be tricky to wear, I have a feeling that yellow will be the ‘it’ shade for this summer, much like turquoise was the year before; even CHANEL has already leaked some early pictures of their yellow shade, ‘Mimosa’ which will be a part of their summer 2011 capsule collection. ‘Yellow Brick Road’ will be available on Deborah Lippmann’s website as of April 15th.
