April 28, 1990 and the day began blisteringly hot, but I didn’t care because I was marrying the love of my life, the man who met me when I was a sassy girl of 14 and went on to tell his mother that he would be marrying me one day!
Ok….so the dress was WAY too busy, my hair was ridiculously “poufy”, my makeup was 90’s über-saturated, (on a side note, loot at how dashing my husband looks!) the florist had completely bungled my bouquet, there was a major windstorm happening as we exited the church, but I DIDN’T CARE!!! It was done – we were married!

April 28, 2012 – 22 years later and THIS is what it’s all about: still in love, still dating each other, still scrapping over the stupid little things, but always learning, evolving, growing and moving forward. Look at this picture and see the proof: our beautiful daughter, the light of our lives and the most amazing person I will ever know.
The dress styles have vastly improved, my hair is no longer “poufy” (you should see the height I was able to reach with my hair, back in the day!), the makeup is not outrageous anymore (in case you’re wondering, I’m wearing Dior’s new summer 2012 ‘Swimming Pool’ eyeshadow palette in the above photo), my husband’s hair has “decreased” in volume (and he still looks dapper!), but I DON’T CARE!!!
22 Years later and I am still enjoying everything life has to offer, and do you know why? Because of these 2 people in my life. Simple as that.
