Impressed enough to bring you this review of Mèreadesso All-In-One Moisturizer after only 2 days of testing — an unprecedented act, when you factor in my exacting standards. According to the brand:

Mèreadesso All-In-One Moisturiser (CAD/US $120.00 50 ml/1.7 oz) – the ultra-clean lines of the white rectangular bottle with its pump dispenser (which also bears a lock in place setting, providing extra hygiene), cradles a product that aims to thoroughly moisturize and treat the face, neck & eye area. The pale seafoam green gel-cream bears a light & almost whipped texture that spreads easily along the skin and is absorbed fairly quickly, although not so much that it completely disappears once applied. The scent reminds me of herbs (which I love) – very organic and “green”, and dissipates once absorbed into the skin. According to the company, one bottle of the All-In-One Moisturizer can last up to 4 months – therefore the $120.00 initial cost when broken down, works out to $30.00 per month; when you consider that this one product could be the only skincare you may need, then that sounds like an amazing deal to me.

After having worn this moisturizer for only 2 days now – both morning & night – I’ve noticed that my skin feels soft to the touch and well-hydrated, without having produced any excess oiliness. A couple of dry patches that I had, primarily around the nose, seem to have vanished and I’ve already begun noticing a more uniform look to my skintone. Naturally, time will tell if all the claims of the brand pan out and I intend to give an update in a few weeks’ time, but this is a very promising start.

Let’s be honest here; who among us hasn’t committed the cardinal beauty sin of going to bed without first removing a face full of makeup, then cleansing, followed by toning & finally finishing by moisturizing – eyes included? Yes, even a beauty fiend like myself is guilty of this kind of laziness – but only a bare handful of times. Even if you happen to fall into the category of those who don’t enjoy skincare UNLESS there’s ritual involved – and I paradoxically happen to personally enjoy the spa/pampered feeling said ritual gives, although I frequently don’t have the time to indulge as much as I’d like to – there’s still much to marvel at all that this one product can do; just the list of ingredients alone should be enough to convince you to at least give it a shot.

Last word: As this is a brand new to me, I didn’t know what to expect – I was certainly not prepared to be totally blown away. Upon further research, I learned that Mèreadesso has only 4 products on its roster; a cleanser (Face + Neck Cleanser), the All-In-One Moisturizer reviewed here, a body balm (Beautiful Body Balm) and lip balms (Lip Teats, available in both Clear and Tinted formats). That’s it. The cleanser is said to be a hybrid makeup remover/mask/cleanser/toner all rolled into one and ideal for use before the moisturizer, and after this experience, I’m really dying to try that baby out as well. I’m still testing out the Lip Treats (post coming soon) but so far, I’m liking what I’m feeling.
