Lately I’ve been hearing quite a bit of buzz about Biossance, so when the brand reached out, I happily accepted to try some of their best-sellers. This vegan skincare range not only looks for sustainably sourced ingredients, but is also committed to helping protect both our skin & the environment — and that thinking aligns perfectly with mine.
Inspired by their cult-fave blush, NARS has released the limited edition Orgasm On The Beach Collection for summer 2021. Last week I was invited to a virtual event for the launch of the latest by Issey Miyake, A Drop d’Issey Eau de Parfum, where I got to learn firsthand what drove the creation behind this new scent from both the perfumer behind the fragrance, as well as the bottle’s designer. What I never expected, however, was exactly how much I’d fall in love with this scent … and no lie, but I’ve literally been wearing it every single day.
I recently had the pleasure of a personalized virtual one-on-one beauty consultation with Maxime Poulin, International Makeup Artist for Guerlain — not to mention a close personal friend of mine — where I was introduced to several new launches from the brand and he then hand-selected products that would work best for me. While he knows me well, the fact that he was still able to choose the perfect L’Essentiel High Perfection Foundation & Terracotta Bronzing Powder shades for me through a zoom call, is proof that this man is a truly brilliant artist. But enough about that; let’s dive into the newness, shall we?
I have been a fan of the Les Beiges range since its launch back in 2013 (seriously: plug in “CHANEL Les Beiges” in my search bar to see what I mean) and that love affair continues with the recently released Summer Light 2021 Collection. Something about the entirely effortless vibe of the pieces — coupled with how beautifully everything performs — and I’m 100% here for it. ALL of it.
