YSL recently launched Tatouage Couture Velvet Cream liquid lipsticks and ridiculously long name aside, I’m actually surprised by how much I’m liking the formula. Of course, the gorgeous packaging had something to do with it, but in the end it was the “velvet” part that hooked me.
Last month I treated myself to 3 products from NARS’ The Bronzing 2020 Collection that I had scored at the Sephora sale, and today’s post adds to that with several new launches. The very first bronzer I ever bought was the brand’s cult-fave Laguna and while my bronzer collection has since grown, it’s one I still reach for today … along with all its subsequent iterations, of course.
Back in 1999, François Nars caused quite the stir in the beauty world with the release of the provocatively named Orgasm blush and now 21 years later, he’s taking things up a notch with the launch of the Orgasm X Collection. Basically, you might think of these pieces as multiple “O’s” for the face … and yes, I went there.
Without a doubt, CHANEL’s Les Beiges is the collection I wait for all year round and have done so since its inception. The fact that it seems to launch around my birthday just makes it sweeter (coincidence?!). Something about the sleek beige packaging coupled with the whole summery vibe just speaks to me, and the 2020 iteration is no exception to that.
I feel like it’s been ages since I last did an OPI review and from the moment I received the Mexico City Collection, I just knew it needed to be shown in all its glory. After the long & hard winter we just experienced followed by the pandemic + subsequent travel lockdown, I figure this is one trip we can all enjoy … plus how uplifting is all this colour? ❤️
