To celebrate 25 years since the launch of their original 12 lipstick hues, NARS has added to the lineup with 60 shades in total that come in sheer, satin, and matte finishes. And while that’s a boat-load of options to select from, the upside is that no matter which you choose, you’re pretty much bound to love it.
For her first solo CHANEL Haute Couture debut held this past July 2nd, Virginie Viard paid a breathtaking tribute to the House’s legacy, literally transforming the Grand Palais into a blown up rendition of Mademoiselle’s personal library. The effect was nothing short of spectacular, and while you’d think that stepping into the shoes of the late Karl Lagerfeld would be almost impossible to accomplish, Virginie Viard not only rose to the occasion beautifully, but managed to do it in a way that conveyed calm & serenity, albeit in CHANEL’s true spirit of luxurious grandeur.
For beauty lovers, Marc Jacobs’ Summertime Coconut Collection is always hotly anticipated. I mean, coconut: doesn’t get more Summery than that, no? Infused with a varied selection of coconut ingredients (how many times can I say “coconut” in one paragraph?), these products not only smell amazing, but perform equally beautifully. Then there’s the recently launched Youthquake, with pineapple in the ingredients that makes it a perfect fit for the theme. I just love makeup synergy, don’t you?
