I’ve said many times before that Summer collections are my favourites, probably because I’m a July baby, but it’s also because something about the seasonal hues really speak to me. Dior’s Wild Earth Collection is a perfect example of what I’m talking about: filled with warmth, jewel-like hues, and peppered with fire, this collection is definitely hitting ALL the right notes.

In her second homage that’s inspired by the interplay of light captured throughout her photographic journey of East Asia, CHANEL’s makeup director Lucia Pica has created a collection that can be summed up in two words: easy glamour. With Summer just around the corner, these are exactly the types of products I’m all about — fuss-free yet still put together, and in my opinion, no one does that better than CHANEL.
CHANEL recently launched Rouge Coco Flash replacing the original Rouge Coco Shine range … and I’m so down for these lippies. With the iconic double C’s standing out thanks to new transparent caps and with a texture that has a lock on shine + comfort, I do believe I may have found my Summer faves … that will take me well into the other seasons too, I might add.
When Urban Decay first announced their collaboration with HBO’s Game of Thrones, my heart almost stopped: a beauty collection from one of my fave brands + my ULTIMATE FAVOURITE TV SERIES OF ALL TIME (yes, that deserved to be said in caps) = worlds colliding and in the best possible way. As a seriously massive fan of the show (I’ve even read all the books), I was beyond thrilled and when the collection finally arrived, and that feeling has grown exponentially upon playing with all the pieces. The game is most definitely ON.
I was recently invited to preview Stila’s Spring 2019 releases, where I also had the opportunity to personally try out the products. After being pleasantly surprised by what I saw and tested out, I was left asking myself how it was that I hadn’t explored this brand in closer detail? Let’s just say that Stila is most definitely on my radar now.
