The next shade of this collection which I am reviewing here, Anne, is not only the perfect Fall hue, but applied so effortlessly. I found the consistency & flow of this shade to be slightly thinner than Catherine H. which made it much easier to control the application. As I noted previously, Rescue Beauty brushes seem to be thinner which I prefer, as you never have to worry about picking up too much product. In the closeups, you can see the shimmery pink and greenish flecks which lend an almost mossy hue to the base.
Seen in natural lighting, the shade is not only seemingly brighter but has an almost greenish cast to it. It is an excellent alternative to all the dark polishes we’ve been seeing lately, without having a heavy ‘bling’ factor. Under artificial lighting, there is a deeper bronze hue that comes out, lending it a richness which is perfectly in keeping with the ‘Tudor’ theme of the collection….bring on the brocade & velvets!
