CHANEL · Backstage Beauty Métiers D’Art 2023/24 Collection
Every year CHANEL selects one special location to hold the Métiers D’Art Collection and Manchester, England was the setting for the 2023/24 runway show. With a nod to the mod 60’s vibe and musical heritage of the area, Virginie Viard reinterpreted Coco Chanel’s iconic tweeds with vibrant colour, but you guys know I’m all about the beauty look — and this one is not only saucy, but so easy to recreate. Fun too, I might add.
Dior · Diorshow Beauty Collection 2023
The Diorshow range of products ranks as one of my favourites from Dior, and recently the brand reformulated some iconic pieces along with releasing several interesting new colour harmonies. Drawing inspiration from the House’s vast fashion history, these are all classics and what’s more, there’s something here to suit all tastes and complexions.
CHANEL · Spring Summer 2023 Makeup Collection
For Spring/Summer 2023, CHANEL has launched a collection inspired by red, aka: Mademoiselle’s favourite colour. With oversized palettes that serve triple duty (eyeshadow, highlighter & blush), the word that comes to mind when I think of red, is “passionate” but “empowering” is definitely a close second. Let’s add “sexy” in there as well, while we’re at it.

In tandem with the recent Fall 2022 Collection (reviewed here), CHANEL has also just launched the Noir Allure Collection that’s inspired by — but not limited to — their latest Noir Allure Mascara. This may be a capsule collection, but there’s no denying that its impact is much larger than that.
CHANEL · Backstage Beauty Cruise 2022/23 Collection
CHANEL’s recent Cruise 2022/23 Collection was held at the scenic Beach Hotel in Monaco, with the venue being a place the late Karl Lagerfeld long creamed of, especially since his beautiful villa was just steps away. Inspired by the elegant yet sporty atmosphere both seen & felt in this principality, the beauty look created for the show was effortless, breezy, and sunshine-filled. In other words, 100% French-girl chic … and a look that I intend to totally appropriate all summer long.
