CHANEL · Backstage Beauty SS/2024 Haute Couture Collection

CHANEL’s recent Spring/Summer 2024 Haute Couture Collection was inspired by the elegant world of ballet & dance, with both the fashion and beauty looks perfectly embodying that elegant aesthetic. Of course all the creations were beyond breathtaking, but for me, it’s all about the makeup: effortless looking and so easy to recreate.

Pixi Beauty · On-the-Glow Superglow Highlighters & Blush

Even though I lean towards luxury beauty, the one mass market brand that consistently impresses me — both in terms of colour cosmetics and skincare, is Pixi. CHANEL · Les Symboles de CHANEL

Inspired by Mademoiselle’s love of talismans, CHANEL recently launched Les Symboles de CHANEL, a collection of highlighting powders in 5 motifs and 3 glowy shades. Apart from how visually stunning these are, it’s the performance that matters and spoiler alert: they absolutely deliver.

With a nod to the mod 60’s vibe and musical heritage of the area, Virginie Viard reinterpreted Coco Chanel’s iconic tweeds with vibrant colour, but you guys know I’m all about the beauty look — and this one is not only saucy, but so easy to recreate. Fun too, I might add.

Dior Addict Lip Maximizer 2023

I have loved the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer since it originally launched years ago, and there are usually several in my makeup bag at any given time. For 2023, Peter Philips (Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup), has reinvented this iconic product via some formula tweaks, but I’m happy to say that it still performs beautifully — maybe even better than before.
