CHANEL · Sublimage L’Essence de Teint & Hydra Beauty Camellia Repair Mask
CHANEL recently added a serum foundation to the Sublimage range — a product that sounds exactly like what my skin needs right now (yes, my skin ‘talks‘ to me. And since we all know that one needs to start with a proper canvas before applying makeup, what could be better than a repairing mask to get the job done? Go on … I’ll wait.
CHANEL · N°5 Holiday 2021 Makeup Collection
CHANEL’s iconic N°5 is celebrating 100 years of celebrity and is the inspiration behind this year’s 2021 Holiday Makeup Collection. The classic golden-yellow hue of the fragrance has been transformed into makeup for face & eyes, while red — the very colour of life — adorns lips and nails. Of course, there’s a little bit of sparkle thrown in as well to help you “zhuzh” up your looks … done in CHANEL’s inimitably elegant style, naturally.
CHANEL SS22 Ready-To-Wear · Backstage Beauty
CHANEL’s recent Spring-Summer 2021 Ready-To-Wear runway show was held in a temporary location near famous Paris landmark, Les Invalides, and paid homage to the 90s supermodel days as the models bounded down the catwalk while vamping it up for the photographer mosh pit at the end. In contrast to all that glam, makeup was soft, wearable and just so perfectly pretty, paired with minimal hair to keep everything balanced. Not surprising, nails sported CHANEL’s iconic Ballerina — aka: the shade of choice for the majority of the brand’s shows, and I’m ok with that as since this has long been one of my absolute faves to wear … I’m happy seeing more eclectic shades with any upcoming beauty collections!
My Fave Summer Glow Makeup Products
It’s now September, but I’m still keeping that summer glow alive with the help of these fave ‘enhancers’ and when combined with a bit of bronzer, the result is just fab. No need for self-tanner either (although that’s also a really great option) and the best part? It’s super easy and can be customized for every skin tone and using products you may already have.
My 5 Fave CHANEL Palettes
By popular request, I’ve rounded up my top 5 CHANEL eyeshadow palettes. These are the ones I reach for the most and apart from them all being shades I gravitate to, they also happen to never let me down quality-wise. Neutral-leaning but with an edge (hello, red hue), all five palettes are super wearable, flattering, and have definitely proved their worth.
