CHANEL’s Dernières Neiges Collection is filled with an ethereal watercolour beauty as well as the promise of Spring … and about as lovely as a collection can get. Rose tones which add such a brightening effect, play a starring role along with texture and formula variations — but the real story is in how beautifully everything works, whether you opt for just one piece or the entire lot (although something tells me you’ll want it all).
CHANEL· Premières Fleurs Dernières Neiges Collection
If you’re following me on Instagram (and if not, come join me @ommorphia ?), then you most likely saw my Insta Story the other day on CHANEL’s latest Dernières Neiges Collection that I previewed — and in particular this Première Fleurs compact (CAN $80.00 limited edition) that generated such a frenzy. In part, it’s mainly because of all the messages about it that I received, which pushed me to get my review out early … but mainly it’s because I couldn’t wait to swatch and begin wearing this gem. Spoiler alert: so GORG.
CHANEL Neapolis: New City Spring/Summer 2018 – Eyes
For Spring/Summer 2018, CHANEL introduces Neapolis: New City, a collection that is inspired by Lucia Pica’s city of birth, Naples. The name pays homage to this city’s roots as an ancient Greek colony, while the colours draw on the incredibly lush Mediterranean landscape. Starting things off, are this trio for the eyes to bring out your inner (and outer) goddess — flowing robes & crown not included.
