CHANEL · Backstage Beauty SS/2024 Haute Couture Collection

CHANEL’s recent Spring/Summer 2024 Haute Couture Collection was inspired by the elegant world of ballet & dance, with both the fashion and beauty looks perfectly embodying that elegant aesthetic. Of course all the creations were beyond breathtaking, but for me, it’s all about the makeup: effortless looking and so easy to recreate.

As seen in the images below, the beauty look was all about a fresh face and a delicate application. The skin was flawless but not overly covered up, and while both blush and bronzer were noticeably absent, the cheeks still held a soft touch of colour combined with a radiance, thanks to the primer and face balm. The eyes were given a wash of luminosity by using the lightest shade of the palette, while brows were defined to provide a gentle focal point. Lips held the softest touch of natural rose and the final touch was a gleaming ballet pink gracing the nails.
