Of course, we’re not fully into Summer yet, and we’re already talking about the Fall shades….that’s the nature of this beast, I’m afraid! The exceptionally talented ‘nail queen’, Sophy Robson, was the first to hint at what these new colours would be and was lucky enough to be one of the select few to receive actual samples of these much anticipated shades. What I love about these tones, is that they all seem to bear an almost gilded patina of richesse & elegance, perfectly in tune for the deeper weather to come.
The much anticipated ‘Graphite’ does indeed seem bear the same pearlized grey tone of lead, yet the finish looks to be slightly matte (at least in the photo). ‘Quartz’ while looking more sheer, seems to also have a pearly sheen to it, and I suspect it will turn out to be rather more chameleon-like than expected. The final shade, ‘Peridot’ certainly has a greenish cast to it, and a beautiful brass-like flash to give it such a lustrous depth. I’m already looking forward to them and can’t wait to try them for myself! Rumour has it that this collection will most likely become available sometime in either July or August, but I’ll be sure to update once more information is released. Happy dreaming!
