For the Spring/Summer 2011 season, Illamasqua introduces us to their ‘Toxic Nature Collection’…a visionary and visual concept of ‘nature fighting back against the genetically modified society that plunders it’. These are Spring/Summer colours, but with a unique slant; always on the cutting edge of beauty, Illamasqua has created a palette that is at once airy and somewhat twisted, with colours meant to enhance and exaggerate, camouflage & reveal. This collection also launches a new product, their ‘Cream Pigment’, six hues (two of them available in the EU only) of a new matt formula which can be worn on eyes, lips or cheeks as either a subtle wash or built up for more vibrancy. In the words of Illamasqua’s Creative Director, Alex Box:

- Delirium – rose taupe (EU only)
- Mould – grape
As well as the Cream Pigments, there is a Precision Ink pen in ‘Glister’ – a glistening opalescent nude, which has incredible lasting power, 2 lipsticks ‘Atomic’ – fuchsia violet and ‘Flare’ – bright orange, 2 new Sheer Lipglosses in ‘Torture’ – coral peach and ‘Divine’ – fuchsia pink, ‘Toxic Claw’ which is Illamasqua’s second collaboration with visionary Mike Pocock and who brings us a set of 2 false thumb nails, designed and individually hand-made by him for this collection and finally, 5 brilliant new nail lacquers:
- Purity – peach
- Bacterium – pearlescent Ash Ochre
- Radium – acidic lime shimmer
- Stagnate – grey mauve
- Gamma – neon orange
