For years, I avoided using liquid liners (as well as the gel & pen varieties), as I found them a little unforgiving, harsh even, and somewhat daunting; one bump or shake, and you were looking at a hot mess. But a black pencil eyeliner – no matter how budge proof the claim – will never give you that same deep sootiness, or provide that artistic precision you may wish to create that these new MAKE UP FOR EVER liners can.
