CHANEL’s first mindful skincare range has Mademoiselle’s beloved camellia flower at its core — in this case, the red camellia, to be exact. Employing eco-conscious principles, the products are made with significantly less packaging materials and 100% natural processes are used in their creation. But I like this range for a more important reason: the results they provide.
Givenchy recently added to their incredible lipstick range with the launch of Le Rouge Interdit Intense Silk — and while the name might be a mouthful, I can assure you that the texture will more than make up for that. Also new is a revamped version of L’Interdit Eau de Toilette that may have a shift in notes, but still maintains the fragrance’s signature at heart. This is a brand that honours its storied history, and I’m definitely here for that.
This past January, CHANEL’s Spring/Summer 2023 Haute Couture Collection loosely drew inspiration from the abundance of animals depicted in Coco Chanel’s Rue Cambon apartment, and exquisite creations aside, I’m all about the effortless yet chic beauty looks seen on the runway. Looks, I should add, that are also ridiculously easy to recreate … which I fully intend to do.
As someone who is fanatical about skincare, I’ve learned from experience that my routine is definitely enhanced by using treatment devices, but there’s a catch: you need to be patient and more importantly, consistent with usage. Luxury beauty brand Clé de Peau recently launched some new lipsticks in several formulas, and I received some to test out. As a lifelong lip gloss girl, I confess to now reaching more for lipstick — especially since mask mandates lifted. I guess that’s my way of celebrating!
