As someone who is fanatical about skincare, I’ve learned from experience that my routine is definitely enhanced by using treatment devices, but there’s a catch: you need to be patient and more importantly, consistent with usage. Splurging on fancy facials and spa sessions is great, but let’s be honest; that’s not sustainable for most people. Investing in a home treatment device like the Titan AllWays, however, is not only more affordable in the long run, but works on YOUR schedule. I call that a win-win.

Titan AllWays Wrinkle Reduction & Skin Tightening, cordless (CAN $399.00) | Home facial treatment devices have come a long way, and with continually improving technology, it’s become easier than ever to give yourself spa-level skin pampering. The new Titan AllWays device uses HT™ (Home Tightening) technology which combines three energy sources: Bi-Polar Radio Frequency (RF) energy, LED light energy, and IR (Infrared) heat energy to help stimulate collagen & elastin fibre production, which in turn increases volume to provide a lifted and firmer appearance, allowing your skin to repair itself from the inside out. This increased volume also has the added benefit of helping to ‘fill’ in wrinkles, lines, and crow’s feet, further improving the look of your skin. Finally, your complexion may also appear brighter, more even toned, and pores can also seem significantly more refined. The biggest perk, in my opinion, is that you can treat your skin according to your schedule and in the comfort of your own home. This device is truly universal, as it’s suitable for all skin tones (barring certain skin conditions, in which case you’ll need to check with your physician first). You can also use this device in conjunction with other hand-held treatment devices you might currently be using — provided you alternate days ie: don’t use all devices on the same day. Finally, the Titan AllWays is safe to use even if you’ve had fillers (it will not damage or melt them) making it not only a perfect accompaniment to such dermal procedures, but could potentially help increase the longevity of the fillers as well, and thus further protecting your investment.
EDIT: The Titan AllWays is currently on sale for $319.20
I was fortunate enough to interview Dr. Julia Carroll, Co-Founder & Medical Director of Compass Dermatology (Toronto, Canada), where I asked her some key questions regarding using this device:

What is the ideal age to begin using this device?
Titan AllWays is suitable for those 18 years of age and up. I recommend starting to use the device in your early 20’s for prevention. In our 20’s, our collagen production starts to decrease by 1-2% each year. Collagen and elastin are the main pillars holding up our skin, and as we age, we tend to break down collagen faster than our bodies can produce it. Titan AllWays uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin fibres, which results in firmer, tighter skin.
Is there anyone whose complexion/skin type is not suited to use this device?
Titan AllWays is suitable for all skin types, tones, and complexions. However, this device is not designed for everyone’s condition. Please read all the contraindications in the user manual before you start your treatments or consult with your physician if you have any concerns.
How soon before actual results are seen and felt?
Some users see temporary visible results immediately, while others take up to five weeks after their first treatment. Optimal results can be seen after 10 weeks. Results depend on how consistently the treatment regimen is followed and may vary from person to person, factoring in skin type and degree of laxity in the skin. The device works best on those with visibly mature skin.
Is there a recommended usage schedule? For example, how often to start with and after that?
When first using the device, the recommended treatment schedule is two times per week for 10 weeks, followed by one treatment every two weeks for maintenance. You should treat each zone for 10 to 15 minutes. Multiple zones can be treated in one session. Titan AllWays has four energy levels. For the first treatment, start at level one. After a few minutes, gradually increase to an energy level that is comfortable for the area you want to
treat.
What are the long-term benefits of using the Titan AllWays?
Titan AllWays kickstarts collagen and elastin production so, over time, you can build fresh collagen and elastin fibres to support your face. The result is firmer, tighter, more radiant skin, with the main effect being lifting and some textural improvement. Recent studies show a reduction in pore size as well.
Which types of skincare products do you recommend using to complement the Titan AllWays?
When you first start using Titan AllWays, I recommend applying gentle skincare products until you see how your skin reacts. Once you have settled into your treatment routine, you can begin to introduce serums. Serums are best absorbed during the first few hours immediately after a treatment. In general, most people can carry on with their normal routine, however, if you are committing to a Titan AllWays program, I think it’s a nice way to refine your skincare routine to maximize results.
If you stop using this device, does your skin revert back to its former state?
Like any treatment, maintenance is required. You can maintain your results by completing one treatment every two weeks.
Can this device be used in tandem with other anti-aging home devices, and if so, what’s the best method to do so?
Absolutely. My recommendation would be to wait at least 24 hours between the different
treatments, to allow the skin time to recover. The device can also help maintain results in
between in-office cosmetic dermatology procedures.
The Titan AllWays comes complete with a charger, tube of Hyaluronic Gel, and storage pouch.
The slim size of the wand makes it ergonomic to hold and use, while the surface area of the head is easily able to cover a good section of skin per pass. There’s no learning curve to using the Titan AllWays, however I do recommend keeping the slider gel near (as well as a small towel/paper towels), as you need to keep your skin well lubricated, else the device will not easily slide along the skin and can feel uncomfortable when that happens. As I’m familiar with using treatment devices and know fairly well what my skin can withstand, I’m able to comfortably use this device at the highest setting, but I would recommend you begin with the lowest setting and build up to your own comfort level.
I’m diligent with my skincare, and I can both see and feel the results of my efforts. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed that some sagging has begun, especially along the jawline which is an area that no amount of serums or creams can really do much about. That’s where using a device such as the Titan AllWays can help — and I intend to take full advantage of that!
